Thank you to the Thunder on the Mountain Show N Shine !
You created something uniquely special for car-lovers, who came from all over the region.
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta proudly hosts the Thunder on the Mountain Show N Shine, an annual gathering that celebrates community, car culture, and all things on wheels. From classic cars and motorcycles to trucks, custom builds, and any rad ride that deserves to be shown off, this event brings together enthusiasts and community members for a day that is truly a whole vibe.
Set against the spectacular backdrop of Mount Shasta, Thunder on the Mountain is more than just a car show. It is a community celebration where people connect, share their passion for unique rides, and support a great cause. Each year the event features hundreds of vehicles and thousands of attendees, creating an incredible atmosphere for car lovers and the community alike.
This event also serves as an important fundraiser supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta and the youth we serve throughout Siskiyou County.

I saw many men stand by this and other fine cars in awe, boys for the day.
The show isn't restricted to pristine antique cars. Organizers explicitly welcome classics, muscle cars, hot rods, customs, trucks, 4x4s, modern cars and motorcycles—essentially anything interesting on wheels.

What started as a simple goal to bring together the car and motorcycle community with the Mount Shasta community has quickly grown into something bigger. In just two years, Thunder on the Mountain has welcomed hundreds of vehicles, thousands of attendees, and raised tens of thousands of dollars to support the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta and the youth we serve throughout Siskiyou County.

This year's 'Thunder' added a community breakfast, with Black Bear Diner's "Bears That Care" program donating $2 from each $12 breakfast plate back to the Boys & Girls Club. The Discover Siskiyou Tourism Improvement District—administered through Siskiyou Economic Development— provided financial support also, through its Event Marketing Awards program.
A day later, I'm still dazzled! The TLC these car owners displayed towards their vehicles was astounding. There were many more beautiful vehicles I didn't photograph here that delighted community event-goers. I look forward to seeing who won in the award cateogries:
